There are 3 things why choosing a 'life spouse' is not equal to purchasing stocks. Initially, you can't manage a 'spouse portfolio' out of it. Secondly, higher risk does not imply a higher return. Thirdly, your 'put option' can't be easily excercised in case the your spouse' value drops.

Nobody is perfect but endeavoring to be perfect would patch our imperfections.

Do pluralists and relativists look alike? Yes both of them have created a confusing bargaining power!
